The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is choosing new regional executives across Ghana as the party works to strengthen its structures ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Delegates have been voting, counting is taking place, and results are gradually emerging from the regions.
Global Pulse GH is following the results throughout the day and updating this page as credible results are confirmed.

🟢 ASHANTI REGION — COKA WINS
Chairman: Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA
Status: ✅ ELECTED
COKA has won the Ashanti Regional Chairmanship after defeating Dr Henry Kwabena Kokofu.
His victory makes him the new leader of the NPP's regional structure in one of the party's most politically important regions.

🟢 GREATER ACCRA — OKOE-BOYE WINS
Chairman: Dr Bernard Okoe-Boye
Status: ✅ ELECTED
Dr Bernard Okoe-Boye has emerged as the NPP Greater Accra Regional Chairman.
His victory puts him at the helm of the party's regional organisation as the NPP begins rebuilding its structures ahead of the next general election.
🟢 EASTERN REGION — JEFF KONADU ADDO WINS
Chairman: Jeff Konadu Addo
Status: ✅ ELECTED
Jeff Konadu Addo has won the Eastern Regional Chairmanship.
He secured 405 votes, beating Albert Kwadwo Boa-Agyemang, who polled 292 votes.
Winning margin: 113 votes.
🟢 CENTRAL REGION — ESIBU WINS
Chairman: Joseph Kobinah Esibu
Status: ✅ ELECTED
Joseph Kobinah Esibu has been elected NPP Central Regional Chairman.
He received 278 votes, while Percy Dennis obtained 161 votes.
Winning margin: 117 votes.
🟢 NORTHERN REGION — ADAM SAMBA RETAINS SEAT
Chairman: Mohammed Baatima Adam, popularly known as Adam Samba
Status: ✅ RETAINED
Adam Samba has retained the Northern Regional Chairmanship after emerging victorious in the regional contest.
His victory means he will continue leading the party's regional structure as the NPP moves into its next phase of internal organisation.
🟢 NORTH EAST — FUSHEINI NURUDEEN RETAINS SEAT
Chairman: Fusheini Nurudeen
Status: ✅ RETAINED
Fusheini Nurudeen has retained the North East Regional Chairmanship.
He polled 92 votes, defeating Sulley Sambian, who secured 64 votes.
Winning margin: 28 votes.
🟢 SAVANNAH — IDDRISU SULEMANA WINS
Chairman: Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana
Status: 🟡 PROVISIONAL
Savannah has produced one of the closest chairmanship contests of the day.
Iddrisu Sulemana secured 92 votes, narrowly defeating Dr Clifford Abdallah Braimah, who polled 88 votes.
Winning margin: just 4 votes.

🟢 BONO EAST — ABRONYE DC RETAINS SEAT
Chairman: Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC
Status: ✅ RETAINED
Abronye DC has retained the NPP Bono East Regional Chairmanship with 201 votes.
His victory adds another incumbent to the list of regional chairmen who have successfully defended their positions.
🟢 AHAFO — ROBERT SARFO-MENSAH WINS
Chairman: Robert Sarfo-Mensah
Status: ✅ ELECTED
Robert Sarfo-Mensah has emerged as the NPP Ahafo Regional Chairman after winning the regional contest.
🟢 UPPER WEST — ABDUL-AZIZ ABDU-RAHMAN WINS
Chairman: Abdul-Aziz Abdu-Rahaman
Status: ✅ ELECTED
Abdul-Aziz Abdu-Rahaman has been elected NPP Upper West Regional Chairman.
He secured 173 votes, while Kantong Alaska polled 86 votes.
Winning margin: 87 votes.
🟢 WESTERN — IGNATIUS AFRIFA WINS
Chairman: Ignatius Kwesi Afrifa
Status: ✅ ELECTED
Ignatius Kwesi Afrifa has won the NPP Western Regional Chairmanship.
He polled 265 votes, defeating Abdul Ganiyu Mohammed, who obtained 102 votes.
Winning margin: 163 votes.
🟡 VOLTA — WOANYAH RETAINS CHAIRMANSHIP
Chairman: Makafui Kofi Woanyah
Status: 🟡 PROVISIONAL
Makafui Kofi Woanyah has retained the NPP Volta Regional Chairmanship according to the provisional results currently available.
Woanyah — 169 votes
Joseph Wallace Homenya — 148 votes
Winning margin: 21 votes.
Because the figures are provisional, Global Pulse GH will continue to monitor the final confirmation.
🟢 UPPER EAST — RESULT EMERGES
A new NPP Regional Chairman has emerged in the Upper East Region.
Status: ✅ ELECTED
Global Pulse GH is continuing to verify the full name and vote figures before adding them to the detailed results.

Voting and counting have been taking place in the Oti Region.

🔎 WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
The chairmanship results are only part of today's election.
Delegates have also voted for Vice Chairmen, Secretaries, Organisers, Treasurers, Women's Organisers, Communications Officers, Nasara Organisers and Youth Organisers.
Those results will also shape the NPP's regional leadership teams for the next phase of the party's political work.
For some regions, the biggest question now is whether the newly elected executives can put the internal contest behind them and work together.
That will be particularly important as the NPP begins looking towards 2028.
