Safo Emmanuel Sadari Declares Intention to Contest NDC Savannah Regional Secretary Position

SAVANNAH REGION — Safo Emmanuel Sadari, the current Deputy Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Savannah Region, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Substantive Savannah Regional Secretary.

In a declaration dated August 10, 2026, Mr. Sadari expressed gratitude to party members and stakeholders for entrusting him with the responsibility of serving as Deputy Regional Secretary over the past four years.

Reflecting on his tenure, he said the experience had provided valuable lessons and strengthened his relationships with party members across the region.

According to him, the NDC in the Savannah Region has a greater task ahead, particularly in strengthening unity, deepening commitment among members, rebuilding trust where necessary, and creating a stronger, more organized and inclusive party structure.

“It is therefore with humility before Almighty God, confidence in our collective strength, and an unwavering commitment to the ideals and future of our great Party that I officially declare my intention to contest for the position of Substantive Savannah Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress,” he stated.

Mr. Sadari said his decision to seek the position was driven by his belief that the Regional Secretariat must become the “nerve center” of an efficient, united, transparent, accountable, innovative and responsive NDC.

He further emphasized the need for a regional party structure that listens to its members and responds effectively to challenges confronting the grassroots.

If given the mandate, Mr. Sadari pledged to lead with integrity, humility, courage, fairness, transparency and accountability.

He also called for greater unity within the party, describing the next phase of the NDC's development in the Savannah Region as an opportunity to build a stronger future together.

“The journey that began four years ago continues, but I believe the next chapter must be one of greater unity, where together we Create a Bold Future for the Savannah Region,” he said.

Safo Emmanuel Sadari is now expected to join the race for the Savannah Regional Secretary position as the party prepares for its internal electoral processes.
